Bloomberg<\/a>, the successor to the Nintendo Switch \u2013 so far simply called \u201cSwitch 2\u201d \u2013 could come with an 8-inch LC screen. This is what Hiroshi Hayase, analyst at Omdia, says.<\/p>\nWhile Nintendo itself has kept its cards close to its chest regarding tracking the hybrid system, it has also been suggested that we could see it launch this year, perhaps in time for the holidays.<\/p>\n
If what the analyst says about the screen is true, that means the new Switch console will be much larger than the original model, which has a 6.2-inch screen. It will also be larger than the OLED version released in 2021, which has a 7-inch screen.<\/p>\n
As always with these speculations, it's best to take everything said at face value for now. We have no official confirmation regarding the Switch's successor. However, there are rumors that the developers have already started working on games for the device.<\/p>\n
