Protest group <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Pal_action\/status\/1749395316657295784\">Palestinian action<\/a> claimed responsibility for the act.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"inline inline-photo full\">\n<figure><picture><source data- media=\"(min-width: 376px)\"><source data- media=\"(max-width: 375px)\"><img class=\" lazyload lazyload\" data-image-container=\".inline-photo\" height=\"320\" width=\"570\"\/><\/source><\/source><\/picture><figcaption class=\"photoCaption\">Twickenham was covered in red paint by protesters on Tuesday morning. <cite>Photo by Martin Pope\/Getty Images<\/cite><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/aside>\n<p>International Armored Vehicles \u2013 a three-day convention \u2013 claims to be the &#8220;premier global meeting place for the armored vehicle community,&#8221; with Israel-based military technology company Elbit Systems Ltd. among the event&#39;s attendees.<\/p>\n<p>Around 1,000 delegates from 40 countries are expected at the event at the stadium.<\/p>\n<p>Anti-war posters were held up by demonstrators and included slogans such as &#8220;Drop the targets, not the bombs&#8221; and &#8220;Tanks out of Twickenham&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, the RFU confirmed that police were investigating the incident.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Metropolitan Police are investigating after red paint was sprayed on the side of Twickenham Stadium.
