{"id":21133,"date":"2024-01-22T13:21:43","date_gmt":"2024-01-22T10:21:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/21133\/samsungs-next-gen-galaxy-watch-7\/"},"modified":"2024-01-22T13:21:44","modified_gmt":"2024-01-22T10:21:44","slug":"samsungs-next-gen-galaxy-watch-7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/?p=21133","title":{"rendered":"Samsung&#8217;s next-gen Galaxy Watch 7 will probably get a snazzy new Exynos W940 chip"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Samsung&#8217;s next-gen Galaxy Watch 7 will probably get a snazzy new Exynos W940 chip\u060c<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Even though we&#39;re likely several months away from welcoming a new generation of high-end consumer smartwatches from industry heavyweights Apple, Samsung, and Google, credible rumors are circulating today for some reason in two of these highly anticipated devices.<\/p>\n<div>While the <span\/>The Pixel Watch 3 is expected to grow from one size to two to keep up with the flexibility of its Tier 1 rivals later this year, the <span>Galaxy Watch <\/span>7 will allegedly contain an Exynos 5535 processor in an attempt to master both Google&#39;s next-generation Wear OS soldier and the <span>Apple Watch Series 10<\/span>.<\/div>\n<div>If that number doesn&#39;t mean anything to you, perhaps the name Exynos W940 will tell you a little about what to expect from the Galaxy Watch 7 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/series\/\"   title=\"series\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">series<\/a> in terms of raw power.  Always nothing?  Don&#39;t worry, because that&#39;s obviously what we&#39;re here for.<\/div>\n<div>Note that last year&#39;s Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic use a Samsung-made Exynos W930 SoC, which naturally means that the Galaxy Watch 7 (and likely the Watch 7 Classic or <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/pro\/\"   title=\"Pro\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Pro<\/a>) will improve on the already impressive overall performance of their predecessors released in 2022.<\/div>\n<div>Of course, it&#39;s unclear what kind of actual upgrade might be in store here, but a report from several months ago suggested that <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/galaxy\/\"   title=\"Samsung\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Samsung<\/a> was working on a 3nm-based processor for its next big smartwatch.
