Galaxy S24 Ultra and its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 get humbled by Galaxy S24 Plus in new test\u060c<\/p>\n

As expected, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 throughout, but most markets have variants of the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus powered by Exynos 2400. Qualcomm's Snapdragon chips are considered superior to Qualcomm's in-house chipsets. Samsung<\/a> and the company aren't really questioning that assumption by keeping its latest in-house chip outside of the top-of-the-line model, the Galaxy S24 Ultra<\/span>. This does not necessarily prove that Snapdragon 8 generation 3<\/span>Motorized models will work best. If anything, the Exynos 2400 might prove to be a better option for many users.<\/p>\n

This test is a ray tracing benchmark for GPUs and emulates a scenario where you might play a game for a long time to determine if there are any stability or cooling issues. In short, it can help you understand how your phone's performance changes under heavy use and how it handles heat.<\/p>\n

THE Galaxy S24 Ultra<\/span> achieved a maximum score of 8,249 and a minimum score of 3,984 and a stability rating of 64 percent. The Exynos 2400 powered Galaxy S24 Plus<\/span> fared much better, with maximum and minimum scores of 8,905 and 5,755 respectively, and a stability of 64.6 percent.<\/div>\n
This suggests that the Exynos 2400 will perform better over long periods of gaming, which could make the Galaxy S24<\/span> and S24 Plus, one of the best gaming phones of 2024.<\/div>\n
Previously, User X @GaryeonHan<\/a> suggested that Samsung's latest smartphone chip handled the demanding game Genshin Impact better than the iPhone 15 Pro, although a follow-up to that tweet dampened our enthusiasm somewhat by saying that the Exynos 2400 lacked difficulty with the game because the texture resolution was set to low. <\/div>\n
