To that end, City have put together the perfect package with a jersey designed to mark the <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/start\/\"   title=\"start\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">start<\/a> of the Year of the Dragon.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-media-max-width=\"560\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I just landed \ud83d\udc32 <\/p>\n<p>Our new collection of Year of the Dragon shirts and capsules is available now \ud83d\ude4c<\/p>\n<p>\ud83e\udd1d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/pumafootball?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@pumafootball<\/a><\/p>\n<p>-Manchester City (@ManCity) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ManCity\/status\/1747896539740029254?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 18, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Indeed, the design of the 2024 Lunar New Year kit achieves the unlikely feat of blending centuries of ancient Chinese tradition with the 20th anniversary of City&#39;s move to the Etihad Stadium as well as the vast success they have enjoyed since.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"inline editorial float-r\" data-behavior=\"article_related\">\n<h2 class=\"editorial-title\">Editor&#39;s Choice<\/h2>\n<p>2 Related<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n<p>The bespoke shirt design heralds the start of the Year of the Dragon, a mythical creature that symbolizes strength, expertise and outrageous luck in Chinese mythology;  attributes embodied by Pep Guardiola&#39;s treble winners.<\/p>\n<p>Each Year of the Dragon specifically represents one of the elemental signs \u2013 for example Earth, Water, Fire, Metal \u2013 and the lunar year 2024 is named after the Wood Dragon.  As such, the pale gray shirt is covered in a custom pattern that depicts hand-drawn wooden carvings of the dragon, which wraps around the torso.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Enter-the-Dragon-Man-City-release-special-Lunar-New-Year.jpg\" width=\"100%\"\/><\/p>\n<p>These spirals are also said to reflect the large blue &#39;turrets&#39; which stand outside the Etihad Stadium &#8211; important architectural elements which also inspired the repeating graphic found on City&#39;s 2023-24 home shirt.  The names and numbers on the back of the jersey, modeled by City stars including Jessica Park and Laia Aleixandri, are also displayed using a custom zodiac-inspired typeface which includes a stylized &#39;tail&#39; flourish of dragon\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/1705587597_199_Enter-the-Dragon-Man-City-release-special-Lunar-New-Year.jpg\" width=\"100%\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The kit is part of a small Year of the Dragon capsule available which also includes a matching track top.
