A federal appeals court has rejected Apple&#39;s request to uphold the stay of the International Trade Commission&#39;s (ITC) exclusion order regarding the aforementioned Apple Watch models.  The ITC imposed the order after a judge ruled that the pulse oximeter in the affected Apple Watch models infringed a patent owned by Masimo.<\/div>\n<div>The exclusion order means that the <span>Apple Watch <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/series\/\"   title=\"Series\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Series<\/a> 9<\/span> and the <span>Apple Watch Ultra2<\/span> cannot be sold in the United States.  Apple was initially granted a stay until the federal appeals court could rule on Apple&#39;s request to stay the exclusion order until it had exhausted all its options to do so. call. However, the redesign disables the pulse oximeter feature that measures the amount of oxygen in a person&#39;s red blood cells.  Another option Apple has is to license Masimo&#39;s patent, although there is no indication that the two companies have met to discuss such a solution. <\/div>\n<p>Although Apple has been denied the opportunity to maintain the exclusion order during the remainder of the appeal process, it is possible that Apple will <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/win\/\"   title=\"win\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">win<\/a> the appeal, although it could take months and months before until a final decision is made.  And during this entire period, the ban will be in effect.<\/p>\n<p>If Apple decides to import the revised version of affected Apple Watch models with the pulse oximeter disabled, it will not affect functionality on <span>Apple Watch Series 9<\/span> And <span>Apple Watch Ultra2<\/span> models already purchased.
