With a catch.<\/p>\n<div>\n<h2>Apple Pencil 3 price and release date<\/h2>\n<div>The all-new Apple Pencil &#8220;only&#8221; costs $79, a far cry from the $99 of the OG Pencil and the second-generation one which costs $129.  For those who purchased the original Apple Pencil 1, a USB-C to Apple Pencil adapter can be purchased separately for $9.<\/div>\n<p>Fortunately, the new Apple Pencil supports some of the Pencil 2&#8217;s features, but those willing to splurge now that the Apple Pencil 3 is priced lower will have to wait until it&#8217;s released in early November.<\/p>\n<h2>Apple Pencil 3 specs and features<\/h2>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>USB-C charging<\/li>\n<li>Low latency<\/li>\n<li>Tilt sensitivity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>Despite its USB-C port, the Apple Pencil 3 offers almost the same weight and dimensions as the Apple Pencil 2, stretching to 7.5 x 155mm for just 20.5 grams of weight.  As mentioned, there is also a USB-C adapter for the first Apple Pencil.<\/p>\n<h2>Apple Pencil 2 and Apple Pencil 3 features<\/h2>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>No pressure sensitivity<\/li>\n<li>No charging or wireless pairing<\/li>\n<li>No double-clicking to change tools<\/li>\n<li>No engraving<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>At this low price of the Apple Pencil 3, however, it skimps on some features of its previous siblings in the line, such as pressure sensitivity.
