However, the latest addition to the list appears to be LG Electronics.  The company&#39;s CEO recently confirmed that it could launch an XR-enabled product as early as next year.<\/p>\n<h2>LG Electronic&#39;s XR headset could arrive next year<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><\/figure>\n<p>As mentioned in a report published by The Guru, LG Electronics plans to launch a commercially available XR device as early as next year.  \u201cIt\u2019s about seriously joining the XR market, after Apple and <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/galaxy\/\"   title=\"Samsung\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Samsung<\/a> electronics.\u201d  The report mentions that Apple&#39;s entry into the extended reality segment has attracted many players, including LG.<\/p>\n<h2>Samsung and Google are already working on their XR products<\/h2>\n<p>This year, the <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/iphone\/\"   title=\"iPhone\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">iPhone<\/a> maker plans to ship around 400,000 units of its Vision Pro headset.  On the other hand, Samsung Electronics collaborated with <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/google\/\"   title=\"Google\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Google<\/a> and Qualcomm to develop its XR devices.  The latter recently launched the 2nd generation Snapdragon XR2+ processor for XR devices, suggesting that the company could launch a device soon.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-orig-size=\"728,409\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"728\" height=\"409\" src=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/LG-Electronics-To-Join-The-Extended-Reality-Race-Next-Year.webp.jpeg\" alt=\"Snapdragon XR2+\" class=\"wp-image-202350\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>As one of the world&#39;s largest display makers, LG already has experience creating some of the brightest OLED and webOS TVs that offer a usable interface.  Therefore, the company&#39;s push into XR, which could result in new hardware, could help the company and others compete with Apple&#39;s Vision Pro.<\/p>\n<p>LG Electronics decided to enter the XR space at a crucial time since the market is poised to grow from $41 billion to $859 billion over the next six years (according to Presence Research).
