YouTube has your back as it’s rolling out dozens of new features،

YouTube offers its users a host of new features and design tweaks. Following last year’s redesign for a better user experience, the platform now introduces more than three dozen new updates, including better audio control on mobile devices, easier control of playback speeds, search by voice or song, an all-new You tab, and much more. The first is “steady volume,” an automatic feature that evens out volume fluctuations for a more consistent experience. No more jarring changes that disrupt your flow.

<picture style="padding-top: 149.79079497908%"><img decoding="async" src="https://wikidollar.net/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/Want-to-find-a-song-by-humming-it-YouTube-has.jpg" alt="Image credit – YouTube – Want to find a song by humming it? Simply tap and hold anywhere on the player, and voilà, your playback speed doubles. Once you get to the part of the video you want, just let go. A practical tip for those in a hurry, available on the web, tablets and mobile devices.

YouTube is also introducing larger preview thumbnails, making it easier to navigate when searching. No need to worry if you change your mind mid-search; a simple elevator from your starting point takes you right back to where you left off.

Have you ever wished that your screen wouldn’t lock during crucial moments? Now you can lock your screen on mobile and tablet, avoiding those annoying interruptions. A successful experiment we talked about a while ago has turned into a feature we can all benefit from.

The updates don’t stop there, as you can now say goodbye to the Library tab. It merges with the account page into a new home page called the You tab. All your watched videos, playlists, downloads, purchases, account settings and channel information in one place. Already deployed, the You tab sits where the Library tab sits on web, mobile, and tablet.

<picture style="padding-top: 66.626360338573%"><img decoding="async" src="https://wikidollar.net/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/1697602521_717_Want-to-find-a-song-by-humming-it-YouTube-has.jpg" alt="Image credit – YouTube – Want to find a song by humming it?
