Carlton Morris scored a controversial last-gasp goal as Luton Town escaped Turf Moor with a valuable point against Burnley in a 1-1 Premier League draw on Friday between two teams battling relegation.<\/p>\n
The hosts looked set for victory after Zeki Amdouni's first-half goal. However, Morris equalized with a header in the 92nd minute. Burnley protested that Luton's Elijah Adebayo had obstructed goalkeeper James Trafford, but following a VAR check the goal stood.<\/p>\n

Burnley are 19th with 12 points, having played a game more than their opponents.<\/p>\n \u201cAn away point in the Premier League is important, especially for a team in our position,\u201d Edwards told TNT.<\/p>\n The game was all Luton before Amdouni scored against the run of play in the 36th minute after Wilson Odobert beat his man<\/a> with a stepover and then slotted the ball across the box for Amdouni to fire home.<\/p>\n The goal lifted Burnley and the game which marked the Premier League's return after a 10-day break was level throughout, with Luton holding a narrow 14-13 shots advantage over the hosts throughout the match .<\/p>\n Luton had a few good chances earlier, including Ross Barkley's rocket in the first half which forced Trafford into an acrobatic leap to save.<\/p>\n But Trafford and Burnley were left injured in stoppage time when he appeared to be prevented, by Adebayo's frame, from contesting a ball into the middle of the area in which Morris rose to save a match no good for visitors.<\/p>\n
