Even if the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/news.samsung.com\/global\/introducing-the-galaxy-xcover7-galaxy-tab-active5-the-perfect-blend-of-durability-work-continuity-and-productivity-for-todays-enterprises\" class=\"external\">announcement<\/a> It&#39;s a bit of a surprise, the device revealed is certainly not one.<\/p>\n<p>The Galaxy Xcover7 has been making headlines a lot over the past few weeks.  So we knew a lot of details about the rugged phone before Samsung&#39;s announcement.<\/p>\n<p>That said, <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/galaxy\/\"   title=\"Samsung\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Samsung<\/a> has confirmed that its new rugged smartphone sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ display with a 60Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy Xcover7 is a rather heavy device at 240g, and quite thick (10.2mm) .<\/p>\n<p>On the back, the Galaxy Xcover7 has a 50-megapixel primary sensor, while on the front there is a 5-megapixel secondary <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/camera\/\"   title=\"camera\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">camera<\/a> for selfies.  Inside, the phone packs an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (up to 1TB via a microSD card slot).<\/p>\n<p>The main selling point of the Galaxy Xcover7 is its rugged durability. According to Samsung, two versions of the Galaxy Xcover7 will be available in the market: 5G and LTE only.  Availability varies by market or carrier.
