Or maybe you&#39;ve had to use a harder touch since rolling out the new screen protector.  According to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.androidpolice.com\/pixel-8-screen-protector-detector\/\" class=\"external\">Android Font<\/a>If you own a Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro, your device will automatically notify you when a screen protector has been added to your phone&#39;s touchscreen, reminding you to enable Screen Protector mode to improve sensitivity touch screen of your phone.<\/div>\n<div>And if you decide to remove a screen protector from your phone, you will automatically receive a notification letting you know that this has happened.  This notification will remind you to turn off Screen Protector mode.  Let&#39;s break down the instructions.<\/div>\n<p>When you put a screen protector on your <span>Pixel 8<\/span> Or <span>Pixel 8 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/pro\/\"   title=\"Pro\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Pro<\/a><\/span>, you will be reminded to automatically activate Screen Protection mode. From there, tap <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Display<\/span> and scroll down to <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Screen protector mode<\/span>. Image credit \u2013 Android Police<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>If you remove the screen protector and decide to turn off Screen Protector mode, tap the first button, and in Settings, tap <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Display<\/span>scroll to <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Screen protector mode,<\/span> and disable the feature.  Again, it couldn&#39;t be simpler.<\/p>\n<div>Although currently available on the <span>Pixel 8<\/span> <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/series\/\"   title=\"series\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">series<\/a> only, we wouldn&#39;t be surprised to see Google eventually add this feature to the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 lines.
