Eligible Verizon customers could share a $100 million settlement\u060c<\/p>\n

Current and former Verizon customers who had a postpaid account and used the carrier's wireless or data services between January 1, 2016 and November 8, 2023 could be in line to receive up to $100 each following the settlement of a class action. action suit. The suit alleged that Verizon<\/span> charged its postpaid wireless account holders \u201cmonthly administrative fees and\/or telecommunications administrative and collection fees (collectively, \u201cAdministrative Fees\u201d) that were unfair and were not adequately disclosed.<\/div>\n
If you are eligible for any portion of the settlement, you will receive notice by email or postal mail that, based on Verizon<\/span>, you have the right to get some of the settlement money back. If you receive this notice, you should click on this link<\/a> and click on the green link found on the website to file your claim. This must be done before April 15. Once you file a claim, you can no longer pursue it Verizon<\/span> individually on the monthly administrative costs. According to court documents<\/a>, Verizon<\/span> settled the lawsuit for $100 million.<\/div>\n

If you don't do anything by February 20, you won't receive part of the settlement and you won't be able to sue. Verizon<\/span>.     A fairness hearing will take place on March 22 and as we noted previously, the deadline to file a claim is April 15.
