But this Monday was a holiday (New Year) and so Google waited until today <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/pixelphone\/thread\/251640674\/google-pixel-update-jan-2024?hl=en&amp;sjid=7020923633785565344-NC\" class=\"external\">to release the first update of the year for eligible Pixel handsets<\/a> which includes Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Fold, Pixel Tablet, Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.<\/div>\n<div>Google says &#8220;the January 2024 update includes bug fixes and improvements for Pixel users.&#8221;  The list includes an update to the camera <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/app\/\"   title=\"app\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">app<\/a> on all eligible Pixel handsets, including the <span>Pixel folding<\/span> which contains a fix to prevent the cameras on these Pixel devices from crashing under certain conditions.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div id=\"gallery-92616fd9-1a2a-4d62-8fb6-86c08cec5c3b\" class=\"single-image-container  image-c\" style=\"width:481px;max-width:100%\">\n<div class=\"gallery-item\">\n<picture style=\"padding-top: 112.88981288981%\"><source media=\"(max-width: 350px)\" ><source media=\"(min-width: 351px) and (max-width: 500px)\" ><source media=\"(min-width: 501px) and (max-width: 800px)\" ><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/The-January-update-for-eligible-Pixel-models-arrives-with-fixes.jpg\" alt=\"Today&#39;s update should fix an issue causing flashing black screens to appear when playing videos on the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. One, for the <span>Pixel 8<\/span> And <span>Pixel 8 Pro<\/span>, will fix an issue that caused users to see a flashing black screen when playing a <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/video\/\"   title=\"video\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">video<\/a> under certain conditions.  A bug fix for <span>Pixel Tablet<\/span> users will only be rid of an issue that prevented them from exiting SetupWizard under certain conditions.  Lately, <span>Pixel 8<\/span>, <span>Pixel 8 Pro<\/span>And <span>Pixel folding<\/span> Users received a patch to exterminate a bug that caused the home screen wallpaper to turn black under certain conditions.<\/p>\n<div>The update includes security patch levels 2024-01-01 and 2024-01-05.
