Mason Greenwood was accused of insulting a referee in La Liga on Tuesday, becoming one of three Getafe players sent off during a 2-0 defeat to Rayo Vallecano.<\/p>\n
The referee said in his post-match report that Greenwood insulted him in the 50th minute with an expletive in English, which the British player and the Spanish club denied.<\/p>\n

It was just a comment he made.”<\/p>\n Referee Jorge Figueroa V\u00e1zquez also said in his report that after his expulsion, Greenwood made a gesture by pointing to his head and expressing his disagreement with the decision.<\/p>\n Greenwood plays with Getafe on loan from Manchester United<\/a>, who he left at the start of this season following a criminal investigation into attempted rape allegations that was closed by prosecutors.<\/p>\n Getafe also lost defender Dami\u00e1n Su\u00e1rez for allegedly insulting the assistant referee moments after his substitution in the 70th.<\/p>\n
