It also broke iPhone connectivity, as some iOS handsets updated to <span>iOS 17<\/span>.2.1 can no longer connect to the user&#39;s mobile provider.  On <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/discussions.apple.com\/thread\/255360058?sortBy=best&amp;page=1\" class=\"external\">Apple Support Community Discussions Website<\/a> (via <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/bgr.com\/tech\/ios-17-2-1-bug-stops-iphone-from-connecting-to-cellular-4-possible-fixes\/\" class=\"external\">CNET<\/a>), iPhone users wrote about their recent problems after installation <span>iOS 17<\/span>.1.2. <\/div>\n<p>An iPhone user with the account name \u201cHedgehog64\u201d wrote: \u201cAfter updating my iPhone last night to version 17.2.1, I can no longer connect to my network provider.  I tried resets and it still doesn&#39;t work!  Very frustrating. That resembles <span>iPhone15<\/span> The <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/series\/\"   title=\"series\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">series<\/a> handsets suffer from the dreaded \u201cthermal issues\u201d and overheat once again.  On a personal level, I can say that my iPhone 15 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/pro\/\"   title=\"Pro\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Pro<\/a> Max, which works <span>iOS 17<\/span>.2.1, still benefits from the great battery life it has had since <span>iOS 17<\/span>.1 was broadcast and did not overheat.<\/div>\n<div>Here are some suggested workarounds mentioned by iPhone users on the Apple Support Community discussions website:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Reset network settings:<\/span> Go to <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Settings<\/span> > <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">General<\/span> > <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Transfer or reset iPhone<\/span> > <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Reset<\/span> > <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Reset network settings<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Return to factory settings:<\/span> Make sure you have recently backed up your iPhone before doing this.  Follow the instructions above, except instead of selecting Reset network settings at the end, erase everything.  Personally, I hate the idea of \u200b\u200bwiping my phone, so only do it if you&#39;re desperate.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Delete all VPN profiles:<\/span> Go to <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Settings<\/span> > <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">General<\/span> > <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">VPN and device management<\/span> > <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">VPN<\/span> (press the &#8220;i&#8221; in VPN profiles) > <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Remove VPN<\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>A final option is to install the <span>iOS 17<\/span>.3 beta.  Since <span>iOS 17<\/span>Beta version .3 was released before <span>iOS 17<\/span>.2.1, installing it might get rid of the connectivity bug.  First, go to beta.apple.com or <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/beta.apple.com\/\" class=\"external\">click on this link<\/a>.  Tap the sign up button and log in using your Apple ID and password.  Then go to <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Settings<\/span> > <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">General<\/span> > <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Software update<\/span> and tap the Beta Updates box at the top of the screen.
