This shouldn&#39;t have come as a surprise since it&#39;s an open and closed body (see what we did there- down ?).  The book-style foldable sports a 7.82-inch internal display and a 6.31-inch external display, and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Since the device hit the market with Android 13 pre-installed, news of an upcoming software update is heading towards the <span>OnePlus Open<\/span> \u00bb excited the owners of the device, hoping that Android 14 would arrive.<\/div>\n<div>Sorry, Charlie, the tastiest tuna might turn out to be StarKist (as I don&#39;t eat tuna, I don&#39;t know) but <span>Android 14<\/span> is not yet part of the software update for the <span>OnePlus Open<\/span>.  However, this does not mean that firmware version CPH2551_13.2.0.203(EX01), based on <span>Android 13<\/span>, does not bring solid improvements to the device.  The update weighs 190.66 MB, is based on Oxygen OS 13.2 and includes the December 2023 Android security patch.<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">System<\/span><\/p>\n<div><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>    Improves system stability.<\/li>\n<li>    Improves touch control algorithm for better user experience.<\/li>\n<li>    Reduces power consumption when the device is idle and when certain apps are in use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Communication<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Improves network stability and compatibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/camera\/\"   title=\"Camera\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Camera<\/a><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixes a shutter lag issue that can occur when the Nightscape toggle is disabled.<\/li>\n<li>    Fixes an issue where Retouch, Filters, Resolution, and Flash might not respond to your presses.<\/li>\n<li>    Fixes an issue where the main screen may get stuck when you enable dual preview and use the rear camera to take selfies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The update should bring improved battery life, smoother screen usage experience, and camera settings and shutter should be more responsive.  If you are a <span>OnePlus Open<\/span> owner, keep an eye out for the update.
