Here’s Why Android Users Won’t Be Able To Use iMessage Through Beeper\u060c<\/p>\n

Beeper Mini, the app that promised to bring iMessage to Android and did so wonderfully for a few days, officially abandons the dream of bringing blue bubbles to Android users.<\/p>\n

Over the past few days, the application has repeatedly offered solutions to circumvent the restrictions put in place by Apple. However, in a blog post published on December 21, 2023, the platform officially announced that it was giving up.<\/p>\n

Beeper released an iMessage workaround for the last time<\/h2>\n

For Beeper Mini to work, users must have an old iPhone or Mac<\/h2>\n

Another blog post published on December 21, 2023 explains that Beeper's latest solution fixes and stabilizes the “iMessage situation for Beeper Cloud and Mini users.”<\/p>\n

For the app to work, users will need access to an old iPhone<\/a>, a Mac computer, or find a friend with a Mac. \u201cWhile we understand that this solution will not work for everyone, please know that we are doing the best we can under the circumstances. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Users must do this in order to obtain their iMessage registration code, which is required to use Beeper Mini on an Android phone. However, the only problem with this solution is that users would still have to leave the old iPhone or Mac plugged into power and Wi-Fi.<\/p>\n

For users who do not own an old Apple device, Beeper suggests either asking a friend or renting a device and offers to provide rental devices itself if there is enough interest in the service next year.<\/p>\n

If this workaround fails, Beeper Mini has nothing in store<\/h2>\n

However, if the Cupertino-based tech giant responds by blocking the workaround, Beeper Mini is all but done. \u201cEvery time Bepper Mini breaks or becomes unreliable due to Apple interference, Beeper\u2019s credibility takes a hit.\u201d<\/p>\n

The app also opened the iMessage bridge so developers or Apple can review the code and determine if the service is secure enough. Even though Beeper thinks the iPhone maker might tolerate this update, if it shuts down Beeper Mini again, every Android user's dream of sending blue bubbles is over, at least for now.<\/p>\n
