Blast to the past: The veteran Galaxy Watch 3 shines with new One UI Watch 5 faces\u060c<\/p>\n

The Galaxy Watch 6 is more than just “great” \u2013 even though its battery life is somewhat limited, it's still one of your best smartwatch options, if you own an Android phone and want that OLED goodness.<\/p>\n

However, not everyone wears the latest and greatest Samsung watches. Some people are happy with the Galaxy Watch 3 and have no plans to replace it anytime soon.<\/p>\n

Updates for the Galaxy Watch 3 continue to arrive, reports SamMobile<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Samsung's One UI Watch 5 update (which debuted with the Galaxy Watch 6<\/span> series<\/a>) has already made its way onto the Galaxy Watch 4 and 5 lines. Now the Galaxy Watch 3 and Active 2 can take some of the latest watch faces from it. However, older smartwatches that run Tizen OS will never receive this update.<\/p>\n

The two new watch faces borrowed from the latest version of One UI: Stretched Time and Perpetual.<\/p>\n

The update contains firmware versions R840XXU1DWK2 \/ R850XXU1DWK2 and is rolling out in Europe. Tizen OS remains unchanged at version 5.5.0.2. The Galaxy Watch Active 2 doesn't appear to have received these new watch faces yet, but it should eventually \u2013 perhaps with its next firmware.<\/p>\n
