Not all superheroes wear capes. Some have a touch screen. According to a tweet broadcast from the Living Lchaim \u201cX\u201d account<\/a>, an Israeli soldier was saved when his iPhone stopped a bullet aimed at the soldier and saved his life. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Rabbi Shai Graucher gave the young man<\/a> a new iPhone.<\/div>\n

His phone literally STOPPED a bullet and saved his life.<\/p>\n

The video<\/a> accompanying the tweet shows what appears to be an iPhone X with a bullet hole in the screen. The phone had some sort of sturdy casing on it, although it wouldn't have been able to stop the projectile. Apart from the soldier whose life was spared thanks to his iPhone, other soldiers also received a new iPhone 15 series<\/a> handset.<\/div>\n
The iPhone is protected from dust and plain water (with limitations, of course) and there have been some incredible stories over the years. An iPhone X fell into the river while its owner was in a canoe. 10 months later the unit was found by someone else, dried out with an airline and compressor, and when the charger was plugged in the next day the unit worked. Using a photo of the phone's owner and his wife that was used as wallpaper on the lock screen, the person who found the device and cleaned it was able to contact the phone's owner to arrange reunion. <\/div>\n
