He previously worked for the Miami Herald, the Tampa Bay Times, the Indianapolis Star and The Athletic.<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>INDIANAPOLIS \u2014 The Colts suspended receiver Isaiah McKenzie and cornerback Tony Brown for three games on Tuesday for &#8220;conduct detrimental to the team,&#8221; sidelining both players until the end of the regular season.<\/p>\n<p>The club did not reveal what behavior led to these decisions, but a source told ESPN that the nature of the violations had reached a level where harsh sanctions were warranted.<\/p>\n<p>Suspensions by individual NFL teams are rare.  Most suspensions are issued by the league for violations of personal conduct and drug policies or for violations of playing rules related to player health and safety.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"inline editorial float-r\" data-behavior=\"article_related\">\n<h2 class=\"editorial-title\">Editor&#39;s Choice<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Colts-suspend-WR-Isaiah-McKenzie-CB-Tony-Brown-for-3.jpg&#038;w=130&#038;h=130&#038;scale=crop&#038;location=center.jpeg\" width=\"65\" height=\"65\"\/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/aside>\n<p>McKenzie and Brown were healthy inactives during the Colts&#39; <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/win\/\"   title=\"win\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">win<\/a> Saturday against the Steelers.  McKenzie and Brown typically play backup roles, but they have held important roles throughout the season.<\/p>\n<p>McKenzie played in all 13 games before Saturday and had been the team&#39;s primary returner.
