The iPhone 15 series debuted in September 2023, just a few months ago. We're already getting updates on the iPhone 16 series but that's not all. The iPhone 17 series will be even more exciting<\/a> with custom Wi-Fi 7 chips and a 48 MP periscope telephoto lens according to the latest buzz.<\/p>\n According to Jeff Pu, an analyst at Haitong International Securities who assesses Apple's supply chain, the iPhone 17 Pro<\/a> Max could feature a 48 MP telephoto lens optimized for the upcoming Vision Pro headsets expected to debut in March 2024.<\/p>\n Both the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max feature spatial video<\/a> recording capabilities with 3D depth. The devices use both main and ultra-wide-angle cameras in landscape models to capture spatial video using Vision Pro headsets with the release of iOS 17.2 earlier this month.<\/p>\n The current iPhone 15 Pro configuration includes a 48 MP primary sensor plus a 12 MP ultra-wide sensor and a 12 MP telephoto lens. With the iPhone 16 Pro reportedly increasing the ultra-wide camera to a 48 MP sensor, the iPhone 17 Pro\/Max could be the first iPhone in Apple history to house a fully 48 MP camera.
