So that explains what happened to a husband and wife in Washington DC last month. By WKTV<\/a> (via 9to5Mac<\/a>), the husband was coming home from work early in the morning and called his wife to meet him in front of their apartment building where he would park the car. <\/p>\n

The wife explains what happened next: “As soon as he parked the car, two masked and armed men approached him. They robbed him, took everything he had in his pockets , took the keys to my truck and got in. snatched.” One of the robbers approached the couple on foot while the other drove a BMW. <\/p>\n

She went on to say that the thieves took her husband's smartphone and then did a very strange thing. “They basically looked at this phone and were like, 'Oh, is that an Android? We don't want that. I thought it was an iPhone,'” she said. And they returned the phone to the shocked husband. <\/div>\n

Although the incident only lasted a few seconds and the husband got his phone back, the couple had other valuables stolen during the robbery, as well as his wife's truck, which was important to She. \u201cThat was my income,\u201d she said. “That's how I made money. I used Uber Eats and Instacart, so that was our livelihood.” Hopefully the police will be able to find these guys and recover the truck. As for the husband, he's probably glad he doesn't own an iPhone.<\/p>\n
