The mobile application popular with athletes has unveiled a new feature that will be available for free to all its users, messaging.<\/p>\n<p>Launched this <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/week\/\"   title=\"week\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">week<\/a>, the new feature gives users two options: direct (one-on-one) and group messages.  In addition to these key features, Strava&#39;s messaging tool offers more functionality in the form of even more features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Easily share activities and directions to messaging for easy coordination and celebration.<\/li>\n<li>Message creators can customize the name of group chats for a more personalized experience.<\/li>\n<li>Athletes can provide motivation, hype, and even friendly competition through posts, gifs, and replies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The messaging functionality on Strava can be customized based on the user&#39;s desired experience on the platform.  To <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/start\/\"   title=\"start\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">start<\/a>, Strava users will be able to set their preferences for who can invite them to a group message or who can message them directly.  Additionally, the feature&#39;s settings will be automatically set based on the visibility of a user&#39;s profile, but they can be adjusted to receive messages to and from &#8220;Following&#8221;, &#8220;Mutual&#8221; or &#8220;Person&#8221; in the settings of the feature. the Strava <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/app\/\"   title=\"app\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">app<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To send a message, simply tap the corresponding button on the profile of the Strava user you want to send a message to.
