Barcelona striker Jo\u00e3o F\u00e9lix says Atl\u00e9tico Madrid players would be lying if they said they didn’t want to play more attacking football ahead of their first encounter against his parent club this weekend.<\/p>\n

Jo\u00e3o F\u00e9lix, 24, joined Bar\u00e7a on a season-long loan from Atl\u00e9tico in September and is expected to start when the two teams meet at the Olympic Stadium on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Since joining the Catalan club, he said he “didn’t adapt” to Atl\u00e9tico’s style of football<\/a> under coach Diego Simeone, adding that he felt much more comfortable with Barca’s attacking approach during matches.<\/p>\n

“For sure [I prefer] this style [at Barcelona] — me and all the players,” Jo\u00e3o F\u00e9lix told ESPN before the match.<\/p>\n

“If you ask every player, if you also ask the Atl\u00e9tico players, they would prefer to play more time in attack, that’s for sure. If they don’t answer this question, they’re lying.<\/p>\n
