This background service is responsible for powering AI-based features on Android, keeping those features up to date, and providing AI features to other apps.<\/p>\n<p>As reported <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2023\/11\/27\/google-ai-core-pixel-update\/\" class=\"external\">9to5Google<\/a>, AI Core has been present on Pixel phones and tablets since the initial Android 14 update, but this is the first official update for the app.  The update changes the app version from 0.release.539035001 to 0.release.582652206 and is currently specific to <span>Pixel 8 <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/pro\/\"   title=\"Pro\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Pro<\/a><\/span> devices on stable and beta version (QPR1 and QPR2) <span>Android 14<\/span> built.  Unfortunately, it doesn&#8217;t look like this update is available for Pixel 8 or older Pixel devices yet.<\/p>\n<p>Although you won&#8217;t directly interact with AI Core, it plays an important role in delivering AI-driven experiences to your computer. <span>Pixel 8 Pro<\/span>.  Operating primarily as a background service, some of the features AI Core helps power include automatic scene detection for your camera, improved <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/google\/\"   title=\"Google\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Google<\/a> Assistant responses, and more personalized recommendations.
