2024 iPad Pro to get OLED panels, thin bezels & largest iPad ever\u060c<\/p>\n

Not all heroes wear caps, some also tweet upcoming devices on Twitter (now X). Tipster Majin Bu reached out to As Bu himself denied, take these specs with a grain of salt.<\/p>\n

iPad Pro 2024 lineup to get OLED panels<\/h2>\n

According to Majin Bu, the 2024 iPad Pro<\/a> lineup is expected to have three screen sizes: 11-inch, 12.9-inch, and 14.1-inch. The 11″ and 12.9″ iPad Pro models will receive OLED while the larger 14.1″ is expected to resort to micro LED panels to save costs incurred on OLED panels which will ultimately be passed on to end users. Additionally, the use of micro LED panels brings Apple closer to OLED panels.<\/p>\n

The displays are claimed to light up at a maximum of 3,000 nits, which is ideal even when viewing the screen in direct sunlight. Slates should also feature thinner bezels for a better user experience.<\/p>\n

Bu further added that the iPad Pro 2024 lineup will support the new Apple Pencil 3 which will have interchangeable magnetic tips. An aluminum Magic Keyboard is also available with the upcoming slate.<\/p>\n

What is surprising is the choice of chipset. According to Majin Bu, the upcoming iPad Pro 2024 is expected to receive the latest M3 SoC under the hood along with 8GB of RAM. This should put the iPad Pros in the league of powerful slates compared to their predecessors and competitors. The slate will bring two USB-C ports, MagSafe instead of Smart Connector, and a few other items.<\/p>\n

It will be powered by iPadOS as usual, although it remains to be seen whether it is iPadOS 17 or iPadOS 18 depending on when it arrives. The slate will also benefit from the iPhone<\/a> 15’s Dynamic Island which allows you to control the device, perform actions and much more without going through various clicks to achieve the end goal such as navigation or sports results , etc. There will be no other software related changes as noted.<\/p>\n

Again, the tipster said he’s not 100% sure if the items mentioned above will come true or if there will be any apparent changes given that we’re still a few months away from the supposed launch .<\/p>\n

iPad Pro 2024 Launch Date<\/h2>\n

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about the 2024 iPad Pro and launch date. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is expected to undergo mass production in late Q1 or Q2 2024, followed by a launch sometime later.<\/p>\n
