Kelleher has also proven adept at the art of saving and scoring penalties, winning the decisive spot-kick for Liverpool in their shootout victory over Chelsea in the 2022 Carabao Cup final.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Defender: Victor Lindel\u00f6f (Sweden\/Manchester <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/united\/\"   title=\"United\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">United<\/a>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Despite qualifying for the knockout stage of Euro 2020, Sweden \u2013 captained by Manchester United defender Lindelof \u2013 fell well short of reaching Euro 2024 after finishing third in their qualifying group, behind the winner, Belgium and the finalist.  Austria.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Defender: Stefan Savic (Montenegro\/Atletico Madrid)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A former Premier League winner with Manchester City, Savic has since won both the La Liga title and the Europa League with Atleti. The veteran has competed eight times in all competitions so far in 2023-24, despite being a month shy of his 36th birthday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Defender: Emil Krafth (Sweden\/Newcastle)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Comfortable in the center of defense and at right-back, Krafth has only played once for Newcastle in the Premier League this season.  He is generally called upon more often at international level, having played 44 times for Sweden at senior level, making him the ninth highest cap winner in the current squad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Midfielder: Dejan Kulusevski (Sweden\/Tottenham)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Usually found on the right side of the attack, Kulusevski has proven a popular addition to Tottenham&#8217;s squad, scoring three goals in 12 Premier League games so far this season. The left-footed utility player only featured in two of Sweden&#8217;s Euro 2024 qualifiers, but still managed to get on the scoresheet in the 5-0 defeat to Azerbaijan in March 2023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Forward: Evan Ferguson (Republic of Ireland\/Brighton &#038; Hove Albion)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of the Premier League stars of recent years, Ferguson, 19, is said to have attracted admiring glances from several big clubs after scoring five goals in 11 league appearances for the Seagulls, including a brilliant hat-trick against Newcastle in September.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Striker: Erling Haaland (Norway\/Manchester City)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Two goals in the recent 4-4 extravaganza against Chelsea saw Haaland take his tally to 49 goals in just 47 Premier League appearances for <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/wikidollar.net\/tag\/man\/\"   title=\"Man\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Man<\/a> City.  Unfortunately, injury problems limited the powerful striker&#8217;s participation in Norway&#8217;s Euro 2024 qualifying campaign to just five appearances, during which he still managed to score six goals.  Alas, that simply wasn\u2019t enough when it came time for the final judgment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Forward: Alexander Isak (Sweden\/Newcastle)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Isak has been in fine form for Newcastle this campaign, scoring six goals in eight Premier League matches and playing a central role in October&#8217;s sensational 4-1 demolition of Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League group stage.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"inline inline-photo full\">\n<figure><picture><source data- media=\"(min-width: 376px)\"><source data- media=\"(max-width: 375px)\"><img class=\" lazyload lazyload\" data-image-container=\".inline-photo\" height=\"320\" width=\"570\"\/><\/source><\/source><\/picture><figcaption class=\"photoCaption\">The impact of Alexander Isak, one of the best strikers in the Premier League today, was not enough to help Sweden qualify. <cite>(Photo by Michael Campanella\/Getty Images)<\/cite><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/aside>\n<p>How would this XI perform in the final?  Any team with Haaland at the top of the attack is almost guaranteed to score goals, but we have real reservations about the rigidity of that backline.
