Knights of the Old Republic Remake Is ‘Still Being Worked On’\u060c<\/p>\n

Star Wars fans were eager to hear about the remake of Knights of the Old Republic<\/strong> it is said to be under development. While recent rumors suggest that no studio is currently working on the game, two people from Saber Interactive have seemingly confirmed that the project is still in the works.<\/p>\n

Whether it gets published is another matter<\/h2>\n

That’s according to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, who said in a recent article on X that, yes, the KOTOR remake is still in development. Not much is known about this, but the journalist assures readers that the source confirming this comes directly from the developer himself.<\/p>\n

However, Schreier also can’t say whether the KOTOR remake will ever actually be available. to go out<\/em>“, but the insistence that the project is still in the works will reassure fans.<\/p>\n

I can’t say if the KOTOR remake *will ever come out*, but yes, two people at Saber Interactive tell me they’re still on it, despite recent rumors that no one is working on the game. This happens shortly after Jeff Grubb from Game Bomb<\/a> stated that Knights of the Old Republic “is not in development at this time.” While this has not been officially confirmed by Saber or parent company Embracer Group, many would have taken Grubb at his word, especially given the known uncertainty of the remake.<\/p>\n

Speculation about the project seemed even darker when Embracer CEO Lars Wingefors refused to make any comment on whether KOTOR was in development or not. As such, many people would have come away assuming the worst. Until Schreier’s recent tweet, of course.<\/p>\n

News of the anticipated remake’s delay made the rounds last year, so it was a difficult time for anyone waiting for updates.<\/p>\n

For the moment, it is difficult to say whether Knights of the Old Republic<\/strong> is a work in progress and\/or whether it will ever be released, but Schrier’s tweet might offer a glimmer of hope.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
