According to a manager <span style=\"font-style: italic;\"><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tinderpressroom.com\/2023-11-20-TINDER-INTRODUCES-DATING-BEYOND-PHOTOS-WITH-A-NEW-SUITE-OF-FEATURES\" class=\"external\">blog post<\/a><\/span>The app rolls out features like profile prompts to initiate conversation, profile quizzes, basic information tags, and a dark mode.<\/p>\n<div>Mark Van Ryswyk, chief product officer at Tinder, noted that the company recognizes the shift in priorities for the new generation of daters, who \u201c<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">prioritizes value-based qualities such as respect (78%) and open-mindedness (61%) over appearance (56%).<\/span>&#8220;This change is the driving force behind the introduction of these new features. In the latest update, Tinder users can now leverage profile prompts, allowing them to share responses to prompts like &#8220;<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">The key to my heart is<\/span>,&#8221; &#8220;<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">The first item on my bucket list is<\/span>,&#8221; And &#8220;<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Two truths and a lie<\/span>.  Additionally, users can create quizzes about themselves, providing potential matches with information.<\/p>\n<p>Another addition is the ability to share basic information via profile tags, covering interests, pets, drinking habits and zodiac signs.  Tinder also improved user safety by introducing the ability to report specific content in these sections.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond these features, Tinder is revamping its interface by integrating new animations, including a \u201cIt\u2019s a match!\u201d  \u00bb reworked.  screen, and introducing a dark mode setting &#8220;<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">for a late night activity or low-key public match<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Staying ahead of the technological curve, Tinder had already leaned into AI with a feature helping users select their best photo.
