2024 iPad Air and iPad Pro Full Dimensions Leaked Ahead of Launch،
Apple, as usual, is still surrounded by a dense layer of rumors and leaks. The latest corroborates previous reports suggesting that Apple is expected to introduce new iPad Air and iPad Pro models. Each model has two screen sizes and we have control over the current and future dimensions.
2024 iPad Air and iPad Pro will be available in March
For those who stick to tech news, it's no surprise that Apple is preparing new iPads that will debut in March (at least that's the timeline we currently know).
Apple is reportedly working on two versions of the iPad Air, aptly named J507 and J537. One of the versions (J507, probably) takes the same dimensions as the current iPad Air, i.e. 247.6 x 178.5 x 6.1 mm with a 10.9-inch screen. In addition to this, Apple is reportedly working on a second version named J537 with a larger 12.9-inch screen. It's the largest Air yet with dimensions of 280.6 x 214.9 x 6mm.
What is intriguing are the dimensions of two iPad Pro models, 11″ and 12.9. For starters, we already have an 11-inch iPad Pro, and the 2024 upgrade will have the same dimensions as 249.7 x 177.5 x 5.1mm. However, the larger 12.9-inch iPad Pro has dimensions of 281.5 x 215.5 x 5mm. If you compare these dimensions with the previous 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2020, you'll notice that the latest version is considerably thin by 1.4mm, which is a huge number in this context thanks to the upgraded OLED panel.
Specs-wise, the iPad Airs will likely end up with M2 or M3 chips according to rumors. On the other hand, iPad Pro models are definitely upgrading to the M3 chip.
Apple is expected to hold a special launch event in March to announce a new line of products, including the aforementioned iPad Air and iPad Pro.
