One UI 6.1 introduces a standalone Samsung Find App with the Galaxy S24 series،
One UI 6.1 debuted alongside the Galaxy S24 series last week, paving the way for some notable changes, including the integration of AI into many features. A significant change also comes from Samsung's decision to no longer rely exclusively on SmartThings' Search function and introduce a standalone app. For users used to tracking their Samsung SmartTags via the SmartThings app, a change has arrived. SmartThings' familiar search functionality has been replaced by a new standalone app called Samsung Find, as highlighted in a recent article by Mishaal Rahman on X (via 9to5Google).
Samsung Find is a new app preloaded on the #GalaxyS24series. This dedicated app provides a map view of your Galaxy devices on the SmartThings Find network. You can also track items you have attached your Galaxy SmartTag trackers to.

While not exclusive to SmartTags, the app offers People and Items tabs alongside the Devices tab. The Devices tab easily displays trackers, phones and watches. The People tab allows users to track the locations of their friends and family with their consent (hopefully).
However, Rahman's post states that the Samsung Find app currently does not have the “notify when forgotten” feature, which prevents users from leaving their devices behind. This feature is present in the SmartThings app and is expected to be added to the Samsung Find app via future updates.
