Asus continues teasing ROG Phone 8 with pro-level camera system،
Just recently, Asus announced that it would be hosting an event to showcase ROG's latest lineup for 2024. The Taiwanese tech giant is keeping the excitement going for its soon-to-be-released gaming smartphone, the ROG Phone 8. This powerhouse could fly star at the January 8 event, and a preview of its design was revealed alongside a brand new image.
Asus has posted on X, revealing a snapshot of the ROG Phone 8's rear and camera system. The big news? A brand new camera system is in the works. However, the company is keeping the camera specifications under wraps. What's intriguing, however, is the call to action. Asus invites people to take part in a blind photo test, comparing images taken on phones from industry giants. Those who participate have a chance to win a unit of the highly anticipated gaming smartphone.
While gaming smartphones typically prioritize performance over camera quality, Asus promises a significant upgrade to the ROG Phone 8's camera capabilities, showcasing its new camera system professional level. The previous two generations, the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 7, stuck to the same hardware (except for the front camera). The latter, however, leveraged the advanced technology of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, powering its performance.
