Apple finally adds customizable Default Alerts sounds with iOS 17.2،
Just days before the launch of the latest iPhone 15 series, Apple introduced iOS 17. The operating system has been updated several times since its debut to fix different issues, many of which caused various issues. Problems with the iPhone 15. In the Sounds & Haptics settings, a new “Default Alerts” section has been introduced. This section allows you to select the sound for all incoming notifications, excluding SMS, email alerts, and calendar alerts, which already have customization options.
Apple didn’t have a setup to tinker with your default notification sound before, but now it’s a game-changer. This update is pretty cool for those who always wanted to choose their own sound. Now you can use any text tone as your notification sound.
That’s not all: you can also change the default haptic feedback. Apple changed the haptic alert iOS 17but now you can change or customize it if the update doesn’t suit you.
