We understand that the Pixel 7 doesn’t come with these latest insane AI capabilities like the new iteration. Nevertheless, the Google phone released in 2022 remains an incredible choice to this day, and it easily beats most of the best budget phones in 2023. First of all, the device sports a 6.3-inch OLED display with a rate dynamic refresh rate that optimizes between 60 and 90 Hz. The smaller size (compared to the Pixel 6) makes this smartphone easier to hold and use with one hand and won’t strain your wrist or fingers.
Google’s exclusive Tensor G2 chipset completes this stunning display. In our benchmark tests, this bad boy performs much better than the Galaxy S22+. In other words, you can expect it to handle most things without any problems.
We also can’t ignore the incredible Pixel camera setup you get for your investment. The device features a dual camera setup on the back with a 50MP wide sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide snapper. The camera app is quite feature-rich, offering plenty of options for tweaking photos to your liking. On the front, you get an improved 10.8MP selfie sensor.
The battery life of the Pixel 7 it’s not a joke either. Google has opted for a 4,355 mAh battery here, giving you just over 9 hours of video streaming. While this handset probably won’t last more than a day between charges, the good news is that it supports fast charging speeds.
Overall, we think this Pixel phone is an amazing choice even in 2023, especially for Google fans who don’t want to shell out extra money for the Pixel 8. If you agree, go- y and buy yours soon, because Woot claims it does. The discount will remain in effect for another 12 days or while supplies last.
