Lemokey L3 Mechanical Keyboard Review

Big and bold

At first glance, the Lemokey L3’s all-metal body and CNC-machined chassis from 6063 aluminum give off an impression of premium quality and durability. However, this design choice contributes to its heavy weight (nearly 2 kg) and larger footprint, which might not be practical for users with limited desk space. Customization is another area where the Lemokey L3 shines. The programmable button and macro column add a level of convenience for gaming and productivity, allowing easy access to commonly used functions. Additionally, QMK/VIA compatibility ensures virtually unlimited customization of key mappings and macros, although newcomers may find the process a little intimidating.

Wireless wins

The keyboard’s 2.4GHz wireless connection, complemented by a 1000Hz polling rate, ensures responsive, low-latency performance, which comes in especially handy for gaming. The additional programmable keys and encoder also provide an advantage in games.

Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, allowing you to easily switch between multiple devices, is a boon for multitaskers. However, the lack of onboard storage for the 2.4GHz dongle and lack of adjustable keyboard feet might be minor inconveniences for some users.
