Original Pixel Watch gets a dash of Pixel Watch 2 charm: The 6 new watch faces،

Last month, with the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, Google launched its second generation Pixel Watch with the latest WearOS 4. This updated operating system brings many improvements, including refined and more functional notifications, as well as six new watch faces. Now, these Pixel Watch 2-exclusive watch faces are making their way to the original Pixel Watch.Despite the WearOS 4 update bringing new security features to the original Pixel Watch, exclusive clock faces were notably absent. However, according to the observations of 9to5Googlea change is underway. Pixel Watch 2Distinctive clock faces now appear for first generation users Pixel Watch.

This rollout appears to be related to a recent update to the Google Pixel Watch Faces app, specifically the November 6 version, which is still rolling out: one reason why not all of them are original. Pixel Watch users have reported already seeing the new watch styles.

The six new watch faces available for selection are Adventure, Analog Arcs, Analog Bold, Large Scale, Digital Bold and Rotation. Each face features customizable complications, offering different locations and configurations to suit individual preferences. With the introduction of these styles, the original Pixel Watch now displays a collection of 25 proprietary watch faces.

If you can’t wait to try out the new watch faces, check out the companion Pixel Watch on your phone to see if they are available for your first generation smartwatch. If it’s not immediately available, some patience may be required while the update continues to roll out.

Given the identical design and size of both Pixel Watch generations – the only distinction being the 1st generation’s stainless steel construction versus the Watch 2’s aluminum case – the watch faces work seamlessly on both devices.

And that’s not all, as Google is actively working on an update to the Watch companion app. This upcoming feature will notify users when their smartwatch reaches full charge, providing a minor but practical improvement for the first and second generation. Pixel Watch users.
