Bellingham (shoulder) to miss Real Madrid-Valencia clash

Jude Bellingham will miss Real Madrid’s match against Valencia on Saturday due to a shoulder injury, the club announced in a statement hours before kick-off.

Bellingham did not come off the bench in Madrid’s 3-0 win over Braga on Wednesday, which sent them into the Champions League round of 16.

The La Liga match against Valencia will be Madrid’s last before the international break.

Bellingham has been named in England’s squad for their Euro 2024 qualifiers next week. England, already qualified for next year’s tournament in Germany, host Malta on November 17 before traveling to North Macedonia three days later.

Bellingham, 20, is Madrid’s top scorer this season with 13 goals, including 10 goals in La Liga, since arriving this summer from Borussia Dortmund.

Madrid are second in the league behind Girona, who remain top of La Liga after securing a fifth consecutive league victory against Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.
