New firmware update for the AirPods Pro 2 is rolling out،
AirPods Pro 2 owners are due to receive a new firmware update.

This update comes almost a month after the release of the latest AirPods Pro firmware. As usual, there aren’t many details on what exactly Apple is fixing and improving, but this one likely focuses on bug fixes and other improvements.
The firmware update cannot be installed manually, it affects your AirPods when the earbuds are connected via Bluetooth to your iPhone.
Here’s how to check the firmware version of your AirPods Pro:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone
- Access the “Bluetooth” menu
- Find your AirPods in the device list
- Tap the “i” next to them
- Look at the “Firmware Version” number
Apple has a long way to go with AirPods firmware updates

In 2020, users were complaining about a more serious problem after a firmware update. Some AirPods Pro users made a fuss because the active noise cancellation feature didn’t work as well as it did before the firmware update.
