Apple will now give you more money when you trade in certain iPad and Apple Watch devices،

Your old iPad and Apple Watch devices are worth a little more during a trade-in according to Apple which published the new valuations on its “Trade in” site. Increasing the trade-in value of old tablets and watches heading into the upcoming holiday shopping season is a good move on Apple’s part, as it could entice some device owners to trade in their old iPad or Apple Watch against a more recent model.

Although the trade-in value is determined by the model and condition of the device sent, the following products have seen their valuation increase:

iPad Pro – trade-in value up to $580 from $510.
iPad Air – trade-in value up to $325 from $315.
iPad – trade-in value up to $260 from $170.
Apple Watch Ultra – trade-in value up to $425 from $380.
Apple Watch Series 7 – trade-in value up to $160 from $155.

Apple has also increased trade-in values for some Android handsets.

Get up to $325 back when you trade in an iPad Air

While you can trade in a device at an Apple Store or online, if you have a transaction and want to lock in a review before you’re ready to pull the trigger on a purchase, you can use the funds you receive from Apple’s exchange for the purchase of an Apple gift card. You can then use the gift card once you are ready to purchase the new device.

Among iPhone models, you can currently get up to $650 for a trade-in involving the iPhone 14 Pro Max, up to $570 for an iPhone 14 Pro, up to $470 for an iPhone 14 Plus and a maximum of $430 for the iPhone 14. The listing on Apple’s trade-in site goes back to the iPhone 7 which will earn a credit of up to $40. The iPhone 7 Plus will fetch up to $50. On the Android side, the 2022 Galaxy S22 Ultra will fetch up to $340 while a 2021 Pixel 6 Pro will fetch up to $140.

Apple calls its trade-in program a “win-win.” As the company says: “With Apple Trade-In, you can get great value for your current device and apply it to a new one. And you can do it all online or in an Apple Store. If your device doesn’t is not eligible for credit, we will recycle it for free. It’s good for you and for the planet.”
