Oppo and Hasselblad team up to co-develop cameras for upcoming phones،

Oppo and Hasselblad sign another deal to co-develop new HyperTone camera systems for 2024 phones, companies announcement Today. This isn’t the first time the two brands have collaborated, so this announcement comes as no surprise to tech-savvy people.

According to Oppo, its HyperTone camera system improves clarity by 30% while reducing noise by 60% using AI RAW fusion. However, the new algorithm requires 400% more computing power to provide users with sharper and clearer details after processing.

Additionally, the Chinese company claims that one of the ProXDR technologies in the HyperTone camera system is capable of unlocking eight times greater dynamic range on the screen, making viewing photos much more realistic. Oppo has confirmed that it is working hard to make ProXDR compatible with the Ultra HDR standard.

One of the main features of Oppo’s cameras is the Hasselblad Portrait mode. Using another component of the HyperTone camera system called the HyperTone Engine, this mode creates 3D portraits that avoid over-brightening the face and smoothing out light and shadows. Additionally, Hasselblad Portrait mode promises to deliver more accurate skin tones and cinematic bokeh effects.

All of the above camera features will be further improved by the new joint venture and the initial results will be integrated into future Find series flagships expected to arrive in 2024.
