First, they mentioned that December 2023 marks their 25th anniversary, reminding us that Rockstar Games came into existence in 1998.

The studio then announced that it would release the first trailer for GTA VI in early December. The thread garnered more than 24 million views in nearly 90 minutes, reflecting the hype surrounding the upcoming open-world video game. Over the years, several fans have shared their version of the first GTA VI trailer, getting millions of views.

Responding to Rockstar Games’ announcement, X users taunt the studio that it’s too soon after GTA V, a game launched in 2013. Even though it’s been 10 years since the video game was released, the hype media surrounding his successor is unreal.
