Chinese smartphone maker iQoo is gearing up to unveil its new Android flagship, the iQoo 12 series. It will come with two smartphones, the iQoo 12 and the iQoo 12 Pro. Although both phones are expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, there will be a few key differences that users should be aware of. Here is a detailed comparison between the leaked specifications of the iQoo 12 and iQoo 12 Pro.

According to Indian tipster Abhishek Yadav, the vanilla iQoo 12 is expected to come with a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE OLED display that is expected to support a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits . It could also feature 2,160Hz PWM dimming. On the other hand, the iQoo 12 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch Samsung E7 2K AMOLED display with a similar refresh rate but lesser peak brightness (2,700 nits) and PWM dimming (1440 Hz). Another striking difference between the two phones should be the flat edges of the iQoo 12’s screen and the curved edges of the iQoo 12 Pro.

Under the hood, both flagships will run on Qualcomm’s latest and greatest chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The compatible chipset is expected to be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
