After all, most people now use their smartphones to take their music with them and stream it to true wireless stereo headphones like AirPods. Overall, the iPod product line has been hugely successful for Apple with over 450 million units sold between 2001 and 2022.

It’s unclear whether Retrospekt plans to refurbish and restore more 5th generation iPods or whether it will shift its focus to other iPod models. But given that every unit available on Urban Outfitters has been purchased, it would seem silly for the company and retailer not to continue to cash in on the nostalgic craze that has consumers shelling out money to buy them .
