American audio brand Sonos has launched its premium smart speakers Sonos Era 300 and Sonos Era 100 in India. Both of these speakers will come with Dolby Atmos, and according to the company, the top-of-the-line Era 300 model offers 360-degree spatial sound with Dolby Atmos. Let’s get into the details.
Pricing and availability
Era 100 will be available for INR 29,999 and customers can get Era 300 for INR 54,999. These two smart speakers will be available from October 20 on the Sonos online store and you can pre-order them from October 15, 2023.
Sonos era 300
Sonos Era 300 has six audio drivers: left, right, center and top that direct sound in all directions and give you a spatial audio experience.
This speaker can be used for home theater units equipped with Arc or Beam soundbars. Its Dolby Atmos technology also doubles your experience during movies and music. Additionally, Sonos said that whether you keep it in the center of your room or keep it in a corner, you’ll get a 360-degree surround sound experience from anywhere. It features an hourglass shape that improves sound dispersion.
Sonos era 100
Sonos Era 100 is the improved version of Sonos One. Well, it will definitely come with new features and a new design. This smart speaker has two tweeters and a large woofer that deliver clear, loud sound and deep bass. Era 100 speakers can also be used for a home cinema experience with your soundbar. You need to pair two Era 100 smart speakers with your TV for a complete home theater feel with loud and clear stereo sound.
Both the Era 100 and Era 300 feature touch-sensitive buttons for quick controls like power and volume. They also have microphones and you can control them with your voice command. Both speakers support Alexa, Google Voice Assistant, and Siri. You can also connect them to your phone with the Sonos app.
