Companies sometimes do strange things. For example, Surface Duo users are often the last to benefit from new Microsoft features. And now Google has done something similar by rolling out a new Chrome feature just for iPhone owners, at least for now.

As 9to5Google Notes, the Android and iOS versions of Chrome are already quite different and now Google has added another differentiating factor.
iPhone users now have the option to move the Chrome address bar to the bottom of the screen for easier access. Google says it was a highly requested feature. It was born from the desire to be able to comfortably type in the address bar depending on the size of your hands or your device.
In short, since phones are getting bigger and bigger and no one seems to want small phones, some users may find it uncomfortable to access the address bar. Those who haven’t requested this feature can simply keep their address bar at its default top position.

To move the address bar to the bottom of the screen, long-press it, then tap “Move address bar down.” You can also go to the Settings menu and select “address bar” to move it to a new location.

On the iPhone’s built-in Safari browser, the address bar is at the bottom, so Google may also allow iOS users to move the address bar down to make it easier for them to switch to their browser. Navigator.

Either way, most users will like this option and Android users with large phones might not take this announcement well. The feature was almost brought to Android users first when Google tested it from 2016 to 2018, but it was removed somehow.
