The update comes with a new feature that increases the maximum number of video call participants that can join from the start. As WhatsApp adoption increases among people from all walks of life, it becomes important to start a video call with a larger group, which the new feature unlocks.

With WhatsApp for iOS version 23.21.72, users can add up to 31 other participants to a video call from the start. Previously, users could only add 15 people when initiating the call and manually add more at the start of the call. It is important to mention that the new update might not be available to all users at the same time.
