Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S23 series for 2023 surpasses last year’s Galaxy S22 lineup when it comes to the ultimate consumer voting platform: the cash register.
SamMobile cites a report from South Korean company Hana Securities to note that
Galaxy S23 sales of the series have stood at 22.89 million units since the phones were launched more than eight months ago. This represents a 22% increase for the 2023 flagship models compared to sales of the Galaxy S22
series during the same period.

The basics
Galaxy S23 model has been rung 8.09 million times, the
Galaxy S23+ totaled 4.11 million purchases, and the high-end Galaxy S23 Ultra led the way with 10.11 million units sold. That the
Galaxy S23 Ultra selling better than its two siblings is really no surprise. The weakest performance of
Galaxy S23+ aligns with earlier rumors that Samsung would only announce two Galaxy
S24 models next year, but that rumor has since been debunked.
Samsung may be happy with these numbers, but it can’t be too thrilled about a similar comparison between 2023 foldable models (Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5) and last year’s foldable Galaxy phones ( Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip). 4).
