Giants QB Daniel Jones cleared for return, sources say

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has been cleared to return from a neck injury, sources tell ESPN’s Jordan Raanan.

Jones was cleared Sunday morning, before backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor suffered a rib injury in the Giants’ overtime loss to the New York Jets.

Sources told ESPN last week that Jones and the Giants were considering a possible Week 10 comeback against the Dallas Cowboys. But being cleared for contact would allow Jones to return a week early when the Giants visit the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
