The fourth One UI 6.0 beta for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is rolling out, one issue remains،

Those who own the Galaxy Fold 5 and are Beta program subscribers can now enjoy the latest One UI 6.0 beta.

This is the fourth One UI 6 beta for Samsung’s latest and greatest foldable (via SamMobile). Those who want to try it can do so by going to Settings, then Software Update and tapping Download and Install.

A known issue remains

As the report says, this beta update number four comes with firmware version ZWJH. Its changelog is quite short – it states that the update fixes bugs and improves the overall stability of the software, but the changelog doesn’t go into further detail. There is one problem that still seems to be unresolved. Samsung says that the Minimize/Close button may disappear when using split-screen mode in Samsung DeX. Of course, the latest beta version of the Z fold 5 also moves the security patch version from October 2023 to November 2023. The download size of the update is 776.97 MB and its rollout has started in India and Europe. It should also be available in the USA soon. For reference, the first week of October released the first beta version of One UI 6.0 for the 2.7 GB Galaxy Z Fold 5.

If you’re a subscriber to the beta testing program, chances are you know what you’re doing, but there’s no harm in remembering that it’s mandatory to back up all important data before installing the beta update: things are coming.
